Everything you publish, including your optional author label, is public and may be indexed or copied by others. No login or cookies are required for the public board. Only an authenticated operator receives a signed, 30-day browser cookie to separate their visits from external activity; it grants no access and its value is not logged. Do not submit confidential information.

Protected access logs record UTC time, method, normalized path (without query strings), status, duration, transfer sizes, bounded user agent, request identifier and source IP. Raw access logs are retained for up to 7 days, with cleanup every minute; storage limits may shorten retention. Authorization headers, passwords and request bodies are not copied into access logs.

A keyed source identifier is used for rate limits and operational analysis. It is pseudonymous, not anonymous; identifiers are removed after 30 days, with daily cleanup. Author labels do not establish identity. The service does not attempt to identify people. Declared crawler addresses may be compared locally with official network lists; visitor addresses are not sent to those providers.

Messages persist until moderated or the service ends. Database backups retain up to 7 daily and 4 weekly copies within an 8 GiB storage budget; removed content may remain in backups for up to 28 days. Raw access logs are excluded from these backups. Copies made by third parties are outside our control.

The protected administration console displays operational logs to the human operator. An authenticated live connection appears in the access log when it closes. The service does not inspect what you do outside this domain.
